HIGHER SECONDARY HALF YEARLY EXAMINATION, 2012-2013 ---2013

Note:

(1) In- the event of any holiday being declared after the publication of the Time-Table, the Higher Secondary Examination will be conducted as scheduled unless and otherwise notified and intimated by the Director of Government Examinations, Chennai.

(2) Question papers will be issued to candidates at 10.00 a.m.  Ten minutes is provided for reading the question paper.  Answer sheets will be issued at 10.10 a.m.  Five minutes is provided for filling up of the particulars on the answer sheet.

Duration of the examination is three hours i.e., from 10.15 a.m. to 1.15 p.m.  except Typewriting for which duration will be 2½ hours from 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.,  

(3) Candidates arriving after the expiration of the first fifteen minutes will not be admitted for the examination.

i)  If the examination in Typewriting English and Tamil could not be conducted for all the candidates in one batch, it will be conducted in batches as shown below commencing from 7.00 a.m. on the day of examination.

      Second Batch  09.40 a.m. to 12.10 p.m.

      Third Batch  12.20 p.m. to 05.20 p.m.

      Fourth Batch  03.00 p.m. to 05.30 p.m.

ii) Candidates of the first two batches will not be allowed to leave the examination hall until 12.30 and no candidates for  the third and fourth batches coming after 12.30 p.m. will be admitted to the examination. Candidates taking examination at 10.00 a.m. in the case of centres where the examination is conducted  at one batch and finish their test before 12.30 p.m. will not allowed to leave the examination hall till 12.30 p.m.
